LINCOLNSHIRE, IL – National civil engineering and surveying firm Manhard Consulting has named Jodi L. McCarthy, PE, CFM, CPESC, as its manager of government services. McCarthy has two decades of experience in project management, specializing in site design, floodplain and stormwater analysis, stream and lake restoration, soil and sediment control, compliance, and municipal engineering. She has served as municipal engineer and review engineer for communities and projects in numerous locations across Illinois.
In her new role, McCarthy will manage and develop relationships with current and potential government clients; manage projects, mentor and develop staff, and help increase the service offerings and reach of the department.

McCarthy earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin/Madison. She is a licensed professional engineer; a certified floodplain manager; and, a certified professional in erosion and sediment control.
